On Sunday, September 28 at 11:30 am, Laur Plawker, Director of Community Relations at Hillel at Rutgers University, will discuss how students experience campus antisemitism, what Hillel and community partners can do about it, how students can respond and lead against it, and what adults can do to support students’ efforts. She will deliver an important message to all teens in the audience.

Laur Plawker serves as the Director of Community Relations at Hillel at Rutgers University, where she works to ensure Jewish students feel safe, supported, and proud on campus. In this role, Laur supports students navigating bias incidents, while also partnering closely with university administrators to strengthen protections and policies that safeguard Jewish life. After a period of heightened campus tensions, Laur has helped rebuild trust and collaboration with Rutgers leadership, fostering stronger communication and accountability. At the heart of her work is a commitment to helping students face challenging moments with resilience while building bridges across campus communities to reduce extremism and deepen understanding.
