She will deliver an i mportant message to all teens in the audience.\n\nThis presentation is par t of Temple Israel &\; JCC’s Temple Talk series. It is in person only and will not be online. Admission is free and everyone is invited.\n\nLau r Plawker serves as the Director of Community Relations at Hillel at Rutge rs University\, where she works to ensure Jewish students feel safe\, supp orted\, and proud on campus. In this role\, Laur supports students navigat ing bias incidents\, while also partnering closely with university adminis trators to strengthen protections and policies that safeguard Jewish life. After a period of heightened campus tensions\, Laur has helped rebuild tr ust and collaboration with Rutgers leadership\, fostering stronger communi cation and accountability.
