Alain L. Sanders is associate professor emeritus of political science at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ, and a TV and radio political commentator on domestic and international political issues. Professor Sanders was a professional journalist for 21 years. He worked as a senior reporter for TIME Magazine and wrote stories for every major news section of the magazine, including the Nation, World, and Law sections. A lawyer, Professor Sanders practiced briefly with a New York City law firm early in his career.
