On Saturday, January 27th, at 6:30 p.m., Temple Israel’s Brandeis Men’s Club will present three of New York’s funniest comedians in “BMC Comedy Night.” This fundraiser for Temple Israel will feature stand-up comedians Steven Scott, Kerri Louise, and Andy Pitz. Each has appeared multiple times in New York’s and the country’s finest comedy clubs as well as on TV’s most prominent comedy shows.

Steven Scott is a comedian, actor and host whose unique and tasteful brand of comedy combines clever observations of his everyday life with his amazing vocal talents; which include an array of characters, voices and sounds ranging from celebrities to musical instruments. Described as a perfect mix between Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Carrey, Steven loves getting paid now to do exactly what used to get him in trouble as a kid. He has traveled to all 7 continents; performing comedy clubs, conventions, cruises, colleges, festivals, roasts, military bases and major stages from Broadway to the Las Vegas Strip. He has performed with some of the biggest names in show business, both on stage as well as on screen where he has made numerous television appearances on shows for NBC, CBS, FOX, VH1, MTV, Comedy Central, Gotham Comedy Live, NBC’s America’s Got Talent and his very own Dry Bar Comedy Special, “Voice Male.” Steven was also cast as a series regular in a pilot for a hip sketch comedy show co-starring Tyra Banks & Jamie Foxx and is a longtime member of the legendary Friars Club.

High-energy, commanding and versatile (but enough about her sex life) Kerri Louise is on a roll. She’s been seen on dozens of TV shows including Dr. Oz, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, VH1 , TrueTV, The Apprentice, Comics Unleashed, Gotham Comedy Live and most recently on the new Showtime Special, “Funny Women of a Certain Age.” Kerri lives in New York with comedian husband Tom Cotter and their three sons. Being in a household full of testosterone, Kerri needed an escape, which is why her web series, “My Mommy Minute” has become very popular on YouTube for almost a decade. That audience also inspired Kerri to write Mean Mommy, a funny how to-mom book and the children’s book Harry The Elephant Has An Allergy.

Andy Pitz is a regular at New York’s best comedy clubs including The World Famous Comic Strip Live, The Comedy Cellar, and Gotham Comedy Club. On television, Andy has scored spots on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (2x), Gotham Comedy Live, and as a winner on Star Search on CBS. Andy has also worked in Atlantic City and Las Vegas where he has appeared with numerous national acts including Brad Garrett and The Doobie Brothers.
