Brandeis Men’s Club 2005/2006

Harry Grant

Man of the Year Award

Bob Rohrberger

Bob Rohrberger began his tenure with Temple Israel’s Brandeis Men’s Club as chairman of the Membership Committee.  He has held positions as First and Second Vice President of the Men’s Club, playing a key role in initiating our annual Casino Nite.   He enjoys serving latkes at Temple Israel’s Channukah party, but will, if asked, also serve hot dogs at the Purim Carnival.  He has proven to be an upstanding usher during Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur services, and can be counted on to bring a great ladder to help with sukkah-building.

Bob is also a member of Temple Israel’s Board of Directors.  He is currently our Social Action/ Tikkun Olam Chair, and spent two years as House Chair, following his first assignment as chair of Temple Israel’s Annual Dinner Dance.

Bob is a litigator with Fox and Fox, an Essex County law firm.  He has lived in New Jersey most of his life, but prefers to say he grew up in Queens, with a grudging acknowledgment of his teen years in Paramus (if pressed).  He lives in Glen Rock with his wife, daughter and son.
